Overview
A digital system for dental clinics with two halves that share one data model. Patients book and manage their own appointments and leave structured feedback afterwards; clinic staff work from a live dashboard covering the day's schedule, room occupancy and patient status.
The challenge
Appointments were taken over the phone, which meant a receptionist mediating every booking and change, and no view of room availability beyond a paper diary. Feedback, when it was collected at all, was a comment box that produced nothing anyone could act on.
What we built
The booking flow enforces clinic policy in the interface itself - a two-hour minimum lead time and a five-hour cancellation window - so the rules hold without a receptionist policing them. Patients either pick a specific dentist and see that dentist's real availability, or let the system auto-assign. On the staff side, one dashboard replaces the paper diary with live room and patient status. Feedback is split into two structured surveys, one for the visit and one rating the individual dentist on communication, professionalism and wait time, which turns loose comments into per-doctor metrics management can actually track.
